Azerconnect Group, the country's leading ICT company, and ADA University jointly organized training sessions on artificial intelligence (AI) for students. Over 30 students from various faculties of ADA University participated in the training titled “Exploring AI”.

The three-day training sessions explored the fundamentals of AI, its ethical considerations, and practical applications in real business environments. Led by Azerconnect Group’s team of AI experts, the program aimed to spark students’ interest in AI, enhance their knowledge and skills, and demonstrate how tech can be applied to solve real-world business challenges. 

The sessions highlighted how AI can drive business growth, optimize processes, and improve decision-making. The interactive training sessions included a Q&A segment, and at the conclusion, participants received certificates, while outstanding students were recognized with special awards.

The country’s leading ICT company, Azerconnect Group, participated in the Kazakhstan-Azerbaijan Business Forum held in the capital city of Kazakhstan. The forum, which took place at the Astana International Financial Centre, brought together government officials from both countries, as well as representatives of 155 companies operating in the fields of ICT, high tech, oil and has, construction, investment, transport, logistics, and other sectors. 

During his speech at the event, Deputy CEO of Azerconnect Group Ilgar Nahmadov emphasized the importance of projects implemented in Azerbaijan aimed at developing the digital economy, building artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem, and promoting innovations. He provided detailed information about Azerconnect Group’s initiatives implemented in the country in the areas of accelerating digital transformation and applying AI-based solutions. At the same time, special emphasis was placed on the strategic role of the Trans-Caspian fiber-optic cable line jointly implemented by Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan as part of the Digital Silk Way project.

The Kazakhstan–Azerbaijan Business Forum dedicated to “Economic Cooperation amidst the Development of Artificial Intelligence and Industrial Initiatives” was held with the support of the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan and was jointly organized by the Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) and the Ministry of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan.

Azerconnect Group, the country's leading ICT company, participated in a panel discussion titled "Critical infrastructure at risk: a call for revised security strategies." Chief Information Security Officer at Azerconnect Group, Orkhan Sadigov delivered a speech at the event. In his speech, he noted that existing security strategies are insufficient in the face of current cyber threats. He emphasized that critical infrastructure is an integral part of national security, highlighting the importance of strengthening public private partnerships and training young professionals in the field. It was also stressed that protecting critical infrastructure requires not only defensive measures but also a proactive approach to security.

The panel session took place as part of the region's largest cybersecurity event CIDC-2025 (Critical Infrastructure Defense Challenge 2025). It should be noted that the application of the latest technological solutions in the field of cybersecurity, supporting the professional development of local professionals in the field is one of the main directions of the sustainable development strategy of Azerconnect Group.
