Your responsibilities as a Data Operations Engineer:    

• Analyze and Execute Data Strategy within Data Architecture and Data Platforms Environment;
• Providing the first line, where required, second-line technical troubleshooting;
• Managing multiple data load pipelines to ensure they are operational;
• Running frequent audits and operationalizing data quality monitoring and resolving issues;
• Restoring lost, corrupted data if any;
• Researching new data sources and performing basic data source analysis;
• Planning resources necessary for data operations along with Data Architect and Dev Ops;
• Support models using Deep Learning and other machine learning algorithms and techniques;
• Manipulate and support complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from multiple sources;
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate algorithms efficiently with backend production services and monitor them after launch;
• Work with the product team to define new products, build ML solutions, and integrate them into the roadmap. 

 

Position requirements:

 

• Higher or relevant experience (BS in Computer Science or Engineering); 
• 3+ years of Data Engineering/Software Engineering within Telco, Banking and Retail industry (Background in computer science, mathematics, or a similar quantitative field with a minimum of 3-5 years); 
• Specific areas of expertise: Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Process Optimization ,Digital Technology;
• Language Skills: good level of Azerbaijani, English, Russian;
• Extensive hands-on experience in data ecosystems; covering data ingestion, data modeling, and data provisioning to consumers and downstream systems; 
• Programming experience (Java, JQuery, SQL, Scala preferred) with experience in data modeling.;
• Advanced skills using one or more scripting languages (e. g. Python, bash, etc. );
• Experience in ETL/ELT design, data, and interface specifications, quality assurance and testing methods. Knowledge of data pipeline orchestration (e.g. Apache Airflow, Ni-Fi);
• Basic knowledge in implementing DataOps and MLOps concepts;
• Keen ability to work collectively with engineering and product managers to understand and translate data-driven initiatives and potential ideas into fully developed customer and partner solutions and experiences;
• Problem-solving, critical reasoning, and creative thinking skills;
• Ability to identify core and edge cases, and dependencies in any scenario;
• Experience with identifying and resolving issues working with disparate sources of data and data quality.

Your responsibilities as a Software Solutions Architect:     

• Deliver Flexible, Scalable and Resilient Architecture Design Proposals based on conceptual requirements;
• Understand the Business requirements and align them to the agreed architecture models. Work in collaboration with peers, Business and IT teams to find elegant solutions, which can be effectively delivered by Development teams;
• Improve productivity by identifying deficiencies and recommending change in tools, training, processes;
• Manage changes and optimizations in architecture;
• Ensure SDLC process and industry best practices are followed accurately by managing and participating in appropriate requirements, design, software and change control reviews as well as post implementation reviews;
• Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations;
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system and all related ecosystems and other network elements;
• Provide support and transfer know-how to any team member across the organization;
• Partner with Technical and Business teams to create, maintain tender related documentation, participate in tender process. 

 

Position requirements:

 

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Electronic Engineering/Telecom related field, (Master's degree/MBA would be an advantage);
• Good knowledge of Software Development processes and methodologies, modern DevOps methodologies Cloud Native Application architecture design and deployment principals;
• Web Application development including monolithic, microservices architecture and web design;
• Relational database, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA, Hibernate), caching platforms(Redis, Memcahe, Varnish);
• Containerization and container orchestration techonlogies knowledge;
• Proficiency in software tools required to perform the job tasks;
•  Knowledge and experience in administration, engineering, configuration and management of Applications, VAS and Service Delivery platforms;
• 5+ years application development including monolithic, microservices architecture and web design;
• 5+ years docker, kubernetes knowledge;
• 3+ years experience on Web Application development;
•  Experience in system design is an advantage;
• Language skills: Azerbaijani, English - advanced, Russian - desirable;
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and similar programs;
• Knowledge of SQL;
• Good documentation and Project Management skills;
• Ability to define problems, solutions and workarounds;
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities;

Your responsibilities as a Data Engineer:   

• Execute Data Strategy within Data Architecture and Data Platforms Environment; 
•  Research, design and propose new features or optimizations initiatives for various functional areas having agility and digitalization in mind;
• Participate in Specific Streams under Data Architecture topic to create synergy between Backend Transactional Systems, Backend Analytical and Reporting Systems and Core Systems; 
• Work in particular stream/squad with business representatives and teams to collect and translate information requirements into data to develop data-centric solutions;
• Apply principles and standards for modeling, stored procedures, replication, regulations, and security, among others, to meet technical and business goals defined by company; 
• Participate in Development phases of data-related services using various technologies and architectural patterns for enabling and supporting purposes of existing reporting and analytical use cases for internal and external use cases; 
• Work in the squads on products as well as internal stakeholders to create new products, features in products as well as identify the root causes of problems, turn analyses into insights and solutions;
• Participate in project implementation and operational tasks execution;
• Participate in quality management of Data Stack by having Test Driven Development approach, having UNIT, Integration and Regression tests within Development Lifecycle;
• Deliver the documentation according the company defined documentation standards for Data Stack and constantly deliver documentation within delivery Agile Sprints or within Waterfall Milestones. 

 

 

Position requirements: 

• Higher Education;   
• 1+ years of work experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering positions within Telco, Banking and Retail industry;   
•  Good hands-on experience in data ecosystems; covering data ingestion, data modeling, and data provisioning to consumers and downstream systems; 
•  Good coding skills in at least two relevant languages (e.g. SQL, Python, Java, Scala) as well as excellent knowledge of Cost Based Optimization techniques; 
• Good knowledge of data pipeline orchestration (e.g. Apache Airflow, Ni-Fi);
• Understanding DataOps and MLOps concepts;
• Experience with agile methodologies in a professional development environment (CI/CD);
• Practical knowledge of Messaging Queue technologies, like Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ; 
• Practical knowledge of NoSQL technologies, like Redis, Elasticsearch, Neo4j; 
• Practical knowledge about when and what to test (Unit Tests, E2E Tests);

• Manage the quality of Digital Backend Stack by having Test Driven Development approach, having UNIT, Integration and Regression tests within Development Lifecycle; 
• Focus on designing documentation standards for Digital Backend Stack and constantly deliver documentation within delivery Agile Sprints or within Waterfall Milestones; 
• Drive and implement agile mindset, design thinking and overall “out of box” ambiance. 

 

Position requirements:

 

• Education: Higher;  
• 6+ years experience of Backend Engineering within Telco, Banking and Retail industry (Specific areas of expertise:  Consulting, Management Consulting, Process Optimization, Product Management, Digital, Technology; 
• Language skills: High level of Azerbaijani (speaking and writing), Professional level of English; 
• Strong foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms, extensive experience in developing and implementing optimal solutions; 
• Deep experience in Java, Python or Go; 
• Strong experience with system architecture and scalable solutions; 
• Good knowledge of Spring, Kafka, FastAPI, Django, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Redis, ClickHouse and Linux;
• Deep experience in Kubernetes, Docker, Argo CD, Terraform, Helm, and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins); 
• Deep understanding and application of Code Reviews, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles; 
• Expert in DDD (Domain-Driven Design), CQRS, and Clean Code practices; 
• Advanced knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, ELK and Monitoring Tools (Jaeger, OpenTelemetry); 
• Experience writing API specifications and technical documentation (OpenAPI, Swagger, Postman, AsyncAPI); 
• Experience in optimizing heavy systems; 
• Advanced skills in SQL and NoSQL query optimization and indexing;  
• Expert in microsystem architecture and maintenance; 
• Deep knowledge of asynchronous and parallel programming models;
