Quality Assurance Engineer

Your main job responsibilities:

  • To control and verify the quality of all new and existing applications, services and devices;
  • To develop and perform ATP and UAT for new and existing services and applications;
  • To analyze product requirements, prepare and implement full cycle test scenarios and test cases in test and production environments;
  • To participate in working documentation reviews;
  • To generate test reports indicating test results and product status;
  • To work closely with Vendor and Azerconnect software developers and engineers and provide feedback for software quality;
  • To carry out other tasks related to the position assigned by management;
  • To respect and follow internal regulations and procedures;
  • To create, manage and perform automated tests for TM(Targeted Marketing) scenarios.

 

Position requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (Technical field is preferred);
  • Basic knowledge of mobile communications;
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Methodologies;
  • Knowledge of Testing documentation handling and development;
  • Experience in testing and quality assurance is preferable;
  • 1 year of work experience in the field of mobile communications;
  • Java, JavaScript (basic), HTML;
  • Knowledge of UNIX/Linux;
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL Programming;
  • Azerbaijani and English – advanced level, Knowledge of Russian is an advantage;
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

IT System Administrator

Your responsibilities as an IT System Administrator

  • Administration of Azerconnect IT systems (Windows, Unix, Sun Solaris, Linux);
  • To support an IT operations strategy;
  • To optimize the IT operation's products, services and processes;
  • To actively support colleagues and team members in BaU operations;
  • To proactive predict and eliminate of faults;
  • To provide L1 & L2 support for Azerconnect IT systems;
  • To be responsible for managing the provision of high-quality managed support services to mission critical environments, in line with Service Level Agreements and customer expectations;
  • To be responsible for overall customer assessment, setup, monitoring, documentation, escalation procedures and customer satisfaction;
  • To ensure development of and team adherence to processes and policies: ITIL, Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Desk Management, Change Management, Operations Monitoring & Performance Reporting;
  • To be responsible for ensuring consistent execution of processes and on-going improvement;
  • To manage of 3rd party vendor and provider relationships/agreements/services in accordance with standard operating procedures;
  • To successful operate of 2nd line managed support services and co-ordination of 3rd line support with senior engineer team;
  • To manage of customer/utilize reporting process;
  • To attend on periodic formal meetings with HOSU Systems Administration to discuss operational efficiency and projects;
  • To escalate to HOSU Systems Administration and/or HOU Enterprise Services Operations on incidents or faults;
  • To pro-actively support and enhance operational status of Azerconnect  IT  systems;
  • To actively participate and collaborate with development and engineering teams.
  • To be key areas of Systems Administration are and not limited to:
    -    Administration of IT systems (Windows, Unix, Sun Solaris, Linux).
    -    MS Exchange administration
    -    MS Windows Domain AdministrationMS Sharepoint
    -    SFA Tier-1
    -    DNS (Private & Public)
    -    IPA
    -    DHCP
    -    MS Lync or Skype for Business Server
    -    Active Directory, domain federation, ADFS
    -    Internet Information Servers / Nginx / Apache and web applications support
    -    Linux/Unix systems administrations and troubleshooting
    -    Optimizations for Enterprise Services infrastructure based on best practices, guidelines
  • To fully comply with AZRC IT Policies;
  • To follow IT Security Policies and Guidelines;
  • To fully comply with the Change Management Guideline of Azerconnect; 
  • To fully comply with all administrative requirements of Azerconnect;
  • To carry out other tasks related to the position assigned by management;
  • To respect and follow internal regulations and procedure.
                 

Position requirements

  • University degree;
  • Microsoft ( MCP, MCSA) , Red Hat Certified ( RHCSA , RHCE) recommended;
  • At Least 3 years in IT system administration;
  • 3+ years managing a complex environments;
  • Experience with relevant WAN/LAN technologies, server virtualization, storage, security technologies, and databases;
  • Experience with troubleshooting methodologies;
  • Solid understanding of available and emerging IT technologies; 
  • Good understanding of how IT technology supports the Enterprise and the Business Segments;
  • Must include troubleshooting and repair of Windows and Unix-based systems;
  • Experience in MS Active Directory, MS Exchange 2010/2013/2016,Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019;
  • Experience in Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 and Linux operating systems (RHEL, Oracle Linux, Suse), Solaris, BSD systems; 
  • Knowledge of firewalls, routers, switches, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, FTP, Internet protocols and services, and data communication products;
  • Clearly understanding Storage Area networks and protocols (FCP, FCIP, FCoE), multi-pathing technologies (MPIO), disks, volumes, mount points;
  • IT Hardware Concepts:
    -    RAID
    -    SAN
    -    x86 Architecture
    -    SCSI
    -    iSCSI
    -    FCP
    -    FCIP
  • Hardware maintenance skills;
  • Understanding of OSI model;
  • Knowledge in Datacenters environment

Your responsibilities as IT Enterprise Platforms Administrator:

  • Drive the continuous development of the enterprise platform portfolio and ensure strategic fit with the vision and goals of the product in the context of IT strategy;
  • Participate in all phases of the business applications projects, preparation lifecycle, gather initial business requirements, create requests for proposal and evaluation parts;
  • Engage with other teams to make integrations simpler to deploy and operate;
  • Administration of existing informational systems and tools in accordance with corporate standards;
  • Configuration of existing informational systems and tools;
  • Interaction with vendors regarding problems, required changes and new configurations;
  • To be responsible for continue of development technical and professional expertise through formal learning. To take active participant on OJT;
  • To participate in trials of Enterprise Platforms;
  • To analyze requirements document, finding gaps with respect to relevant industry standards, i.e. specifications, design, development and maintenance of software systems and elements and associated products;
  • Customer Data, Subscriber Profile & Transactions analysis (on GUI/DB/log levels) to prevent/solve any single/major problems in the systems;
  • Availability 24/7 in order to solve business critical problems, participation in planned works (system updates, upgrades etc.);
  • To support the team primary responsible for the fault-free operation and maintenance on Enterprise Platforms; 
  • Provides assistance for the Business Customer to establish or evaluate existing business requirements;
  • To execute job responsibilities and verbal/ written instructions by management;
  • To execute assigned tasks in compliance with the procedures/policy/instruction;
  • To keep confidentiality of the company data;
     

 

Position requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/Electronic Engineering/Telecom related field;
  • Working Knowledge of Programming languages, Databases, Operating systems etc.;
  • Experience in the administration, engineering, configuration, and management of enterprise applications;
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies is preferred;
  • Experience in Telecom BSS/Applications/VAS platforms design, development, engineering, implementation, integration and support is preferred;
  • Experience in Software Change and release Management;
  • Understand the workflow and process requirements of business units related to the application;
  • Excellent problem solving/analytical skills and complex troubleshooting methods;
  • Knowledge of UNIX/Linux;
  • Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL Programming;
  • Knowledge of Shell Scripting;
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes/ Docker is preferred;
  • Fluent in the Azerbaijani and English (Russian is advantage);

Your responsibilities as IT ERP Functional Specialist

  • Analyze business requirements for HCM modules (Core HR, Absence, Time & Labor, Talent Management, etc.) and translate them into functional specifications aligned with Oracle Unified Method (OUM);
  • Participate in weekly meetings with the Line Manager to report on module status and discuss priorities;
  • Provide functional support and training to ERP end-users;
  • Prepare solution design and guide users through implementation and support phases;
  • Analyze and resolve business users’ issues related to HR data and processes;
  • Configure and test ERP HCM modules;
  • Evaluate users’ business needs and objectives and apply them to HR processes and solutions;
  • Conduct testing and resolve issues to optimize performance.
     

Position requirements

  • University degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Applied Mathematics, or Information Technology;
  • Knowledge and experience in HR processes (recruitment, employee data, absences, performance, etc.);
  • Knowledge of SQL and reporting tools (OTBI & BI Publisher);
  • Experience in ERP HCM systems implementation and/or support;
  • Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud (or Oracle EBS HR) implementation/support experience desirable;
  • Experience with functional analysis and solution design desirable;
  • Certifications in Oracle Fusion HCM are an advantage;
  • Azerbaijani and English fluent, Russian preferable.
