Your responsibilities as an IP Transport Network Administrator:    

• To manage day-to-day MPLS Network;
• Maintaining and operating Baku and regional IP/MPLS Transport Networks;
• Oversee troubleshooting for overall network (MPLS, DATA, Mobile Backhaul);
• Monitor networking equipment (Routers, Switch etc.);
• To respond to and perform troubleshooting of customer and NOC reported issues;
• Provision new customer services using defined procedures and templates;
• Perform maintenance operations during maintenance windows;
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation;
• To execute job responsibilities and verbal/written instructions by management;
• To execute assigned tasks in compliance with the procedures/policy/instructions;
• To keep confidentiality of the company data.
   

Position requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field;
• Specific areas of expertise;
• Expertise in TCP/IP networking for Service Provider and Enterprise segments;
• Expertise in Network and Information Security;
• Knowledge in Cloud and Virtualization technologies;
• Knowledge of Unix and Microsoft products;
• At least 5 years’ experience in ISP and fixed telecom;
• English, Russian, Azeri;
• Excellent knowledge of Unix, MS Windows, MS Office, TCP/IP;
• Switching knowledge – VTP, STP, VLANs;
• Routing knowledge – Static, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS/VPN, VPLS;
• Traffic engineering and QoS (Quality of Service) knowledge – RSVP, WRED, PQ, CBWFQ/LLD, MQC etc.;
• Knowledge and experience in transmission and backbone networks – Ethernet, ATM, SONET, DWDM, MPLS, NAT, BNG;
• Knowledge in hardware and operating systems of industrial solutions – Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, Nokia;
• Knowledge with scripting languages – bash, python, etc.
